Some Cross Stitch designs

I am in the process of starting up my own Cross Stitch design business and have been lucky enough to get licensing agreements with some truly wonderful artists.

Here's 3 examples of my designs and links to the artist's website:

This is Silhouette Fairy based on an artwork of the same name by Kirstin Mills. Check out more of her art at:

This one is called Dragon Priestess and is based on an artwork by Dee Dreslough. You can find more of her stuff here:

This was my first attempt at design. The dragon has been stitched with a variegated orange thread to give him a mottled, scaly look. His wings also have an orange blending filament through them to make them shimmer. This was based on an artwork called Tattoo Dragon by Meg Baker:

Mad for Markers Birthday Blog hop

Good afternoon! Thanks for joining us for Mad for Markers Birthday Blog hop... we are pleased you have come along to help us celebrate 2 years at Mad for Markers !! If you came here from then you are right on track ... If not please go over to the M4M Challenge blog to start the hop....:)

I have created 2 cards for the blog hop.

First up is a Some Odd Girl birthday card featuring the gorgeous SOG fairy. I'd like to enter her in the SOG card competition.

Secondly I have a pretty pink Carousel horse (by Stamp It). I'm really happy with this card, given my limited experience with Copics so I guess I could enter it for the Copic coloured Creation.

There will be prizes for people who hop along .. hidden on blogs throughout the hop so make sure you leave a comment on every blog!

Now head on over to

My first blog!!

OK, so I'm new to this blogging deal but it is about time I got started!!

My favourite crafts are cross stiching, beadpoint and stamping so expect to see lots of pictures of work in progress and finished projects.

I am also a member of the Digi DT team for Mad for Markers so I am having heaps of fun with some digi stamps and getting lots of experience with my wonderful Copic markers. Check out the Mad for Markers website at There is a great range of beautiful stamps and prices and postage are about the best I've found anywhere!! Plus boss lady Sammi is great :)
